Manager: Hi Sarah, do you have a moment? I wanted to discuss the client project deadline. Sarah: Of course. What's the issue? Manager: Well, the development team is saying we need two more weeks. The client is expecting delivery on Friday. Sarah: That's a problem. Have you spoken with the client yet? Manager: No, I was hoping we could find a solution first. What do you think we should do? Sarah: We could offer them a partial delivery on Friday — the main features are done, right? Then deliver the remaining updates the following week. Manager: That's a great idea. I think the client would appreciate that approach. Can you help me draft the email to them? Sarah: Absolutely. I'll also prepare a list of what will be delivered on Friday versus the following week so there's no confusion.
