Seven days is enough to move you 1 CLB band if you've already got a decent English base. It's not enough to fix weak vocabulary or grammar. Be honest about that trade and focus on format familiarity, timing, and templates.
Day 1 — Format map
Read the official test overview. Watch the tutorial video. Take 1 full sample test without prep to establish your baseline. Don't stress the score — you're collecting data.
Day 2 — Timing per part
Write out the per-part time budget on paper. Memorise it. Do two Listening parts and two Reading parts strictly on the clock.
Days 3–4 — Listening + Reading drills
- Morning: 2 Listening parts timed, review every wrong answer
- Evening: 2 Reading parts timed, same review
- Build a 'traps notebook' — even in 7 days it pays back
Days 5–6 — Writing + Speaking templates
- Day 5: write 2 emails (W1) and 1 survey response (W2). Use our templates, no improvisation.
- Day 6: record S1 through S8 once each. Listen back — only fix freezes, not grammar.
Day 7 — Rest + mock review
Don't take a new full mock the day before. Instead, re-read your notes, re-watch your best S1 recording for confidence, and sleep 8+ hours. Walking in rested gains more points than another hour of drilling.
